Land prices are normally priced per square meter. they can range from as little as 50 cents per meter up to $100 Dollars per square meter. Everything is determined by the location, views, topography, access to the lake, and other factors. If a lot is located on a designated public road the lot size can be of any size. If the lot is not on a public road the minimum size must be 5,000 square meters(1-1/4 acres) or larger. Some things which also determine price is access to Utilities. (water and electric). Properties such as lake front land is the most desirable and also the most expensive. Properties with both expansive Lake and Volcano views also tend to be higher in price.
Land being used for growing vegatable gardens should be in areas where there is less wind and at lower elevation. Cattle farms should have ample water supply.
Properties with rivers and streams do have set backs from the rivers and streams. Large rivers have a 50 meter set back and smaller streams a 15 meter set back. Lake front property has a 50 meter set back from the high water mark. Lots within gated communities vary in size and normally will have annual H.O.A dues associated with the property. They are in the range of about $500 to $600 per year.
On average, for each acre you purchase you will want to keep the grass trimmed and bushes cut. The average cost is about $80.00 per month per acre.
